The Spring 2009 Responsible Sports Community Grants are in full swing! We are now at the halfway point in the grant period that ends May 31st. What better time to promote your efforts to earn one of the twenty $2,500 grants in your community? Use the money for things like jerseys, equipment, league fees, field rentals, you decide!

You should have already completed the Responsible Sport Parenting or Coaching review guide and quiz, if not get started. If you have completed a quiz and not credited login to the Participants page and credit!
 

Now its time to connect with your community for support! We have a new way you can connect with your supporters and community using our customizable softball fliers. You can download them in our Community Grant Toolkit, enter in your team or league name, and you’re ready to pass them out at practices, games, tournaments, booster club or PTA meetings, pep rallies, parades, community festivals (you get the idea!).

Past winning softball organizations have used the $2,500 to start an endowment to reduce the costs for all of their players, started a scholarship fund, invested in new equipment and renovated their home rink. How will you use your grant?
 

Don’t delay. Use the remaining one and a half months to show support before the grant period ends on May 31st!
