Good morning from Canada!!

We flew into Canada on a Thursday. The airline was missing over 35 of our bags! We hoped that they would come in on the flight later that evening, so we scheduled practice for early the next morning. We went to bed that night not hearing anything about our missing luggage, and woke up early the next day hoping for good news. My roommate Lauren Lappin and I turned off our alarm and went outside to check on the luggage. Instead of the luggage, we found most of the team standing outside laughing with a “what do we do now” expression! The bags had not come in and the airline did not know where they were! Still, spirits remained high and we spent the rest of the day waiting for them to come in. It wasn’t until 6:30pm that evening we got the call that the bags were waiting in the lobby. We were ecstatic! We grabbed our bags and planned for a 7pm practice. The moment we touched the field we were ready to go! It was finally the day before our games and we are fired up! Well, it’s game day, and the team is still ready to win! I better go get ready to beat Japan Elite! Go USA!
